A website to bring more transparency to the Texas Legislator.
When I joined this project they had a working first version of the website written entirely in Django and InVision designs of their V2. I implemented the designs in React and added an API to access the data with GraphQL.
This new version I worked on has been merged into master but is not yet live.

Let’s be honest, staring at a blank page is pretty much slow torture. I love the results but I never have the time or patience to get started. So I built a solution! An online found poem creator.
The concept is tried and true.
• Take a book page
• Chose words or phrases that stand out
• Find your meaning
• Stand back and admire your inner poet
But rather than destroying your books now you can do it online. And then style, save it, share it with fun filters. A lazy man’s version of poetry.

A survey of US impact fees. The data was complex to model as it was divided by place, year, utility type, and property type.
It set up to be as flexible as possible, so we can see what the average percent of the fee Roads where in California for Multi-Family units in 2008, or the trend line for cost of Water fees for Ft. Myers over the last ten years.
I took the data from Excel files, and designed and coded the website to make the data more accessible.

A website showcasing photos of cardboard art. It dynamically displays photos stored in Cloudinary, so it can be updated by a non-developer by simply adding it to their Cloudinary account and giving it the right tag.
